Meeting the needs of both private and government clients we have successfully completed several building and construction projects in the health sector.
The project to build a contemporary residential care facility for aging clients included climate controlled indoor spaces and accessible outdoor spaces. Disability access requirements
adhered to Australian standards and building codes. The aged care facility was constructed for a private client and was efficiently delivered within the required timeframe.
Meeting the requirements of the NT Government we also built remote women’s shelters and safety houses. The key to remote projects for health is working within the community’s expectations whilst building trusting relationships and providing ongoing communication. The women’s shelters were designed to be secure and discreet. Consultation was paramount to ensure the client knew what the end product would be.
During construction of a state-of-the-art palliative care unit there were multiple considerations. We ensured all fittings were up to date, including duct work for gases and correct medical equipment to meet the needs of the facility. To achieve this we liaised effectively with consultant health professionals and project managers and held regular site meetings with all stakeholders. The construction of this facility has resulted in a space that is comforting to patients and their families whilst meeting complex and predefined medical construction specifications.
